Corset Nail Art Tutorial

Difficulty - Intermediate

Corset nail art is a look I'd always wanted to do, so for Day 1 of the 31 Day Challenge I decided to give them a go. It was really straightforward, although in hindsight I might not stamp my nail, as it makes the whole thing look quite dark. So consider that step optional when making your own sexy corset nails!

For this tutorial I used Sinful Colors in Ruby Ruby, Konad Special Polish in Black, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Black Out and Kiss Nail Art Paint in White.

Tips & Tricks

  • If you don't have a brush a nail art pen or a toothpick should work just fine.
  • If you're using a darker polish, I would skip the stamping, or do the corset laces in a lighter color.
  • Painting the side strips is inevitably messy, so don't bother cleaning up your stamping until after you've done the strips.
  • If it looks a bit "bumpy" or uneven, a good quality top coat like Seche Vite will even it all out.
