The thing I love most about nail art is the feeling of community. Featured Mani is a way to give recognition to the talented artists who are creating such amazing looks!
I've recently made a couple changes to the "Mani of the Week". First, it's not going to be weekly because, to be quite honest, I never seem to have the time to keep it up to date! Secondly, instead of featured established nail artists and bloggers I want to give you guys a chance to shine! From now on all my Featured Mani's will be nail art sent in to me by readers of Nail Art 101!
This Week's Mani

This awesome galaxy mani was done by Flavia of
The Professionail.
A few months ago I got an email from a reader saying that she had never done her nails until she discovered my site. Nail Art 101 inspired her to get painting and she sent me a few photos of some of her first manis. I was totally blown away by how amazing she was after just a few weeks. Well, some time has gone by and Flavia has started her own nail art page. She's so amazing, and I feel like a proud mom knowing I contributed to it! :)

This mani was done by
Omnails. Her work is so technically prescise, and it seems she can re-create
any cartoon character on her nails! How she managed to fade the colors on the "Madagascar" on her thumb and keep it legible is BEYONd me!
