My name is Mel and I'm from Toronto, Canada

How long have you been doing nail art and what inspired you to start?
I started doing actual nail art about 1 year and a half ago, prior to that I would just paint my nails one solid color. I was inspired to start doing nail art when I watched a youtube tutorial on Konad stamping!

What products did you use for the mani?
China Glaze - Refresh Mint for the base, Milani One Coat Glitter - Gold Glitz, Kleancolor - Tiara Gold, Stripe Rite - Black, Gold Square Studs from Dollarnailart, top it off with Seche Vite.

What is one nail art product/tool/supply you couldn't live without?
Definitely my Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat, could NOT live without it!

Is there any techinque/style you want to try but haven't yet?
There are sooo many different styles in the nail art world that I haven't tried yet, the most recent one I've seen that I really want to try is NailGrafx, they're nail designs printed on micro-thin film, just DOPE!

What trend do you wish would go away?
One trend I wish would go away is probably the crackle/shatter look, it's been KILLED!!

Who/what inspires you?
I can get inspiration from anywhere, but definetly hip hop, basketball, fashion, amazing nail artists like Sophy Robson, Sophie Harris-Greenslade, Fleury Rose, Scratch Dollface, that's only a few of the many, many nail artists that I get inspiration from!
