What's your name & where are you from?
Hi, my name is Susanne Paschke, I run www.supanails.com and live in Berlin (Germany)
How long have you been doing nail art and what inspired you to start?
I've been doing nail art since 2010. Two things inspired me to do nail art. I used to bite my nails and was looking for a way to respect my nails more. And I was also looking for a creative hobby besides my profession as an Illustrator and Designer. Designing my nails was a great way to combine both interests.
What products did you use for the mani?
For the "Mishka Nails" I used nail polish and acrylic paints. Sorry, I don't remember the brands any more.
What I love about work is your clean lines. Any tips?
Try not to think about shaking. Switch your head off and paint it fast. If it doesn't come out the right way, correct it if you can, otherwise start all over. That's how I do it.
What is one nail art product/tool/supply you couldn't live without?
I absoloutely couldn't live without Davinci Nail Art Brushes. I tried many other brushes but Davinci's have the perfect weight to paint on such small canvases.
Is there any technique/style you want to try but haven't yet?
No, not at the moment. When there's somethin I wanna try, I simply try it.
What trend do you wish would go away?
Crackle Nail Polish. I know many people love it, but I can't stand it.
Who/what inspires you?
Design, music and art. I love searching the web for patterns and I always take snapshots of everything that comes around my way when I'm outside.
Any advice for someone just starting out in the world of nail art?
Be creative and unique and just don't copy!
Thanks so much Susanne. Keep blazing trails! :)
